Surrey Mayor faces Showdown with Pro-Peace Activists in Light of George W. Bush and Clinton Being Invited to Town

Join us at noon, May 2nd 2011, in front of Surrey City Hall as we send our message loud and clear.

In March 2009, native warrior Splitting the Sky, broke through the police line in Calgary and attempted to arrest George W. Bush for crimes against humanity and violating Canada’s immigration law. In doing so, he captured the public imagination and shamed the police and our elected officials.

First our police stood by while George W. Bush – then a credibly accused but now a self-confessed war criminal – walked unopposed on Canadian soil. Only when a Canadian citizen attempted to defend our laws did the police leap into action: to arrest Splitting the Sky, defending injustice and repressing the righteous!

From the other side of the border, things look as bad if not worse. Consider the words of former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark: “We dare not blink at the magnitude, diversity and pervasive impact of the known crimes committed by the Bush administration. Wars of aggression in Afghanistan and Iraq, the supreme international crime, have killed hundreds of thousands outright, wounded, sickened and malnourished many more than they have killed and sent millions as refugees to neighbouring nations while rendering homeless millions more. Indiscriminate killing of civilians, summary execution, arbitrary seizures of people and property, secret unlimited detention and torture have been authorized, widely practised and both defended and denied publicly. President Bush, the self-proclaimed “decider,” reached for unlimited dictatorial power whenever he proclaimed the national security was threatened. And he considered himself above the law where domestic affairs were concerned even as he signed Acts of Congress into law.”

Clearly this man, George W Bush, is among the most egregious of war criminals. As such he is forbidden from entering Canada under Canadian law – unfortunately Conservative Immigration Minister Jason Kenney was deaf to protesters’ cries of “defend our laws” and refused to act to defend our borders. Yet days later he invoked the same law to ban peace activist and former British MP George Galloway from entering the country. One has to wonder if men like Kenney and our Prime Minister, Steven Harper, have any interest in defending our laws or sovereignty – because it appears that their only desire is to appease the American empire.
Despite all this, Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts has had the temerity to invite Bush to Canada yet again, this time on October 20th, 2011, and this time in our city. According to Speaker Wiki, Clinton gets $175,000 for appearing as a keynote speaker, while Bush comes a little cheaper at $150,000.

But this time we will be ready. This time we will see that our laws are enforced, our sovereignty defended, and our sense of justice satisfied. George Bush must be prohibited from entering Canada. If he does cross the border he must be arrested. And if he makes it to Vancouver then it must be made clear that those who are hosting him – like Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts — are complicit in war crimes.

Bush cousin presides over 9/11 suit against Cheney Rumsfeld Myers

By Craig McKee

No, it’s not a joke.
A 9/11 lawsuit against former high officials in the Bush White House is being presided over by a cousin of former president George W. Bush – a shocking and blatant conflict of interest that should embarrass even believers in the official story.

George W. Bush’s cousin, Judge John M. Walker of the 2nd Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals, is part of a three-judge panel hearing the case of April Gallop vs. former vice-president Dick Cheney, former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Richard Myers.

The case has been ignored by the mainstream media in the weeks leading up to it going to court April 5. And most media have ignored the developments concerning the involvement of Judge Walker. One exception is CNBC, which carried an online story with the headline: “Extraordinary Conflict of Interest: Bush Cousin Presides Over Federal Court Case Against Former Bush Administration Officials.” Good for them, but this is an all-too isolated exception. That the story is being kept almost entirely out of the media further reveals that the idea of a free and vigorous press is largely a fantasy.

Gallop, a former U.S. Army executive administrative assistant (with top secret clearance), is suing for damages in connection with injuries she and her newborn son suffered in the supposed terrorist attack at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. The two were injured when the allegedly hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 supposedly slammed into the building. Gallop and many others in the 9/11 Truth movement contend that explosives were planted inside the Pentagon and that Flight 77 never hit the building.

GUNS AND BUTTER – Listen to this astonishing interview from June 20, 2007.

“What Didn’t Hit the Pentagon” with Dave von Kleist, April Gallop and Barbara Honegger. Dave von Kleist examines mainstream media coverage of the attack on the Pentagon; Pentagon survivor April Gallop describes her experiences on September 11th, 2001, her first day back at work as an administrative specialist with the U.S. Army at the Pentagon, after maternity leave; and Barbara Honegger, professional military affairs journalist, discusses her article, “The Pentagon Attack Papers”.

Japadog No More – Vancouver to be first city in North America to shut down street vendors for selling Hot Dogs – imposes strict food regulations.

In another nanny state tactic implemented by people with good intentions making fascist decisions, Vancouver City Council, has taken a vote on behalf of +2 million people to intervene against entrepreneurship to force the ‘free market’ into its authoritarian rule. If Sadhu Johnston, Deputy City Manager for Vancouver, gets his way, their will be a wiener embargo within Vancouver city limits against street vendors as health fascists push their agenda. See the video below. Oh yes, and the Vancouver Coastal Health ‘Guidelines’ will restrict foods with ‘too much sugar’ and will remind citizens that the ‘government knows what’s best for you’ and that selling frosted cupcakes is a criminal offense.

Here’s my rational argument against the Vancouver health gestapo. If and when enough people demand healthier food options from street vendors, we will see small business owners step up to fulfill the need in the market place. Regulating small businesses drives down economic growth in terms of lost business revenue. Consequently, it also reduces the taxable income for the socialist minded who feed upon other peoples labour.

Government cannot dictate the wants and needs of people in a free society. Are we starting to see a pattern here? Additionally, as the government adds new ‘regulations’ against small business owners there is an increased need for government employees to ‘manage’ the bureaucracy and regulatory paper work. At this point we’ve taken a job from the private sector and traded for a tax funded government job. The cycle continues every time our so called ‘leaders’ make economic decisions in an effort to curb peoples decisions.

Can you imagine a time, just like the prohibition era, when people from inside metro Vancouver will pay $17 for a hot dog, but only after giving the secret code to the street vendor who carefully disguises the weenies which are cooking on the secondary grill underneath the spare zucchini sticks? “Excuse me sir, where did you get that wienie?”, says the VCC Health Gestapo officer “that’s a violation of Subsection 69 (c) ii – 4a, we’re going to have to confiscate that wienie, and issue you a ticket for most heinous intent to ingest a controlled substance. From the look of it sir, you don’t need another wienie, and maybe a call to your insurance provider to increase your premiums, will be the last time we need to deal with your kind.”

First they came for the wienies,
Then they came for the ice cream,
Then they came for the pizza,
Then they came for the whole enchilada,
And the Japadog became an urban legend among seasoned celery sticks stands across the country.

Honestly though, I write this with deeply rooted sense of degradation of the ideological philosophy of Canada and our general understanding of liberty. If we look at this from a broader sense in terms of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, under Legal Rights, for Life, liberty and security of person, in section seven (7) “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.” Additionally, for search and seizure, in section eight (8) “Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure.”

I say we take the VCC Health Gestapo through a test of wills, and hereby challenge them to challenge the City of New York, to implement the same food regulations, and publicly call their councilors out for treason for allowing street vendors to sell hot dogs.

Now, from the Ludwig von Mises Institute:

End of the cupcake, and Liberty
by Jim Fedako

It has been said that political movements which appear anemic, confined to the corner tables of beer halls and coffee houses, can become juggernauts overnight with the right dose of ideology, and favorable general mood and climate. Certainly history confirms as much.

Today, it starts with the cupcake. You know, the 200 calorie right-of-passage distributed at every elementary birthday party. Add the insatiable appetite of many for collective health and well-being to the requisite general disdain for individual liberty and common sense, and, before you know it, the statist do-gooders will be shoving carrots and celery down the throats of children and their parents. Happy birthday!

Newspapers are now running articles on obesity and cupcakes in schools. That’s right, the 200 calorie morsel is the root cause of the supposed obesity crisis. And, forcing children and parents to eat carrots and celery instead is the way to curb the expanding American waistline. That plus a lot of state indoctrination of course.

The localized and uncoordinated movements that are currently hitting just a few schools are about converge with more coordinated efforts coming from public school organizations, local health departments, and über-health nuts. This meeting of the minds — and collectivist ends — will create a juggernaut that leads to more than just a ban on cupcakes and similar treats in the classroom. It will lead to the end of personal choice, and Liberty herself.

A little over-the-top you say. Yet, turn the clock back thirty years and realize that no one back then would have believed that smoking would be banned from private businesses and, now, private condos and townhouses.

Therefore, we must guard our Liberties from even seemingly innocuous assaults that occur at the local level, or we will soon find the general mood and climate change as Liberty and Freedom give way to statism and collectivization. And, yes, it all starts with the cupcake.

Note: Of course, in a pure show of hypocrisy, local school board members still toss candy to the kids during parades. That’s because the elected officials truly know what’s best for kids. Cupcakes in the classroom? Evil! Candy while trolling for votes? Priceless!

Email sent to subscribers of – Did We Stop Usage-Based Billing Yesterday?‏

You helped move one of Canada’s largest and most entrenched conglomerates. Yesterday, Bell Canada finally weaseled its way out of its request to impose a punitive pricing model onto its independent competitors. Bell has now put forward a new scheme called “Aggregated Volume Pricing.”

You’d be hard-pressed to find another instance in recent history when a Big Telecom conglomerate backed down from something it had fought for so unrelentingly. The Stop The Meter petition is working.

But will this new scheme stop usage fees, expensive rates, and overall horrible telecom service? No, we’re afraid not.

Here’s what we know:

1. Bell and other big telecom companies continue to impose usage fees on Canadians and they control 94% of the Internet access market.
2. Sources tell us the scheme was crafted between major industry players behind closed doors.
3. Big phone and cable companies do not want telecom price gouging to be an election issue.

Big telecom companies know that during an election, we have the ears of our representatives. They know that we have a unique opportunity to tell candidates that we want digital policy that will remove the Internet from the stranglehold of Big Telecom and stop price gouging, once and for all.

Here’s where your investment in will go:

* Digital Future Survey – we’ll put transformative digital policy questions to the parties and report the results, so you can make an informed voting decision.
* We’ll build an online tool that will let you easily ask your local candidates to stand up for the Internet this election (and we’ll let you know where they stand).
* We’ll launch a campaign to make Big Telecom price gouging an election issue.

To do this effectively we need your help.

Donate HERE to join citizens across Canada in making a special investment to ramp up the pressure this election.

With your help, we’ve already convinced the major political parties to come out against usage-based billing. We’ve also forced the CRTC to reconsider its past billing decisions, forced Bell Canada to backtrack, and opened the CRTC’s closed-door meetings to the public. Just imagine what we can accomplish during the election season. Please help us get there.

For the Internet,

Steve Anderson, on behalf of the Team
P.S. Bell hopes to pull the wool over our eyes, right as we’re on the precipice of significant change. If that bothers you as much as it does me, please support our election strategy by visiting
