Hello WRCV Crew!
There is a storm brewin’ and it’s getting ready to uproot a genetic monster called Monsanto. This elusive creature is unique in its ability to destroy global populations of plants, animals, and people; a beast so disgusting that to even say the word ‘M-O-N-S-A-N-T-O’ brings sickness. The monster is responsible for decades of contaminating the world with agent orange, assaulting Canadian farmers like Percy Schmeiser, rigging election ballot initiatives, killing indigenous cultures, and out right fucking future generations of species on our planet.
A well choreographed and brutal manipulation of regulatory swindling by government ‘officials’ and other truly sick individuals who devise ‘legal protection’ teams on behalf of the monster have established an apparent prosecution free zone or authority for the monster. Through clever deceit of adding legislative language to a U.S. spending bill the Obama Administration recently signed into ‘law’ the Monsanto Protection Act. Buried 78 pages within the bill exists a provision that grossly protects biotech corporations such as the Missouri-based Monsanto Company from litigation.
NOW, the tide is turning as people are realizing that by defunding the monster by simply do longer purchasing Monsanto products we will starve the beast, bankrupt its investors, and reclaim our path to healthy living once again.
The Monster Rally or March Against Monsanto is happening worldwide in hundreds of cities on Saturday, May 25th.

The We Are Change Victoria crew will be down at Centennial Square today with music, free dvds, and freedom water in celebration of 4/20. We will have an open mic for anyone who would like to come up and share their thoughts.
Independent Candidate for MLA of Esquimalt-Royal Roads, Josh Steffler, will be speaking on the value of hemp production and its +50,000 commercial uses (fibre, cement, food, medicine, fuel, insulation, carpet, clothing, etc.). He’ll also touch on the right you have to your body and fundamental freedoms for using marijuana and hemp.
If this issue is important to you, please use this Cheaters Guide to Victoria Politics to contact your City Councilors, MLAs, and MPs; freedom is popular.
Cannabis Culture will be carrying a live feed of the downtown Vancouver 4/20 Rally!
Now, for a few pictures and videos:
Do you own your body? Do your children belong to the State or are they YOUR children? Should you be fined for skipping class or jailed for not ‘educating’ your kids in a public/government run school?
“I Will Not Let An Exam Result Decide My Fate” picks up on the education topic but takes a different stance and angle from “Why I Hate School But Love Education”. This poem talks about how we have been made to think about how education and getting university degrees can give us opportunities to have a better chance in making our dream careers a reality. It also touches on how as individuals we are judged and tested by how well we perform on exams, but not all people perform well in exams so why are they made out to feel like they’re dumb? The inconsistencies of the education system are really peeled open to reveal a deep problem that needs to be addressed and how society’s needs have changed to make this even more apparent.
When it boils down to it, why are we misled into thinking that education is the only way forward for successful means in our work and career lives? We need to open our minds and educate ourselves that exam results aren’t the barometer of success and that we can’t let them decide our fate. We are in charge of our own destinies!
On Thursday, April 11th, at the University of Victoria, several unnamed assailants disguised as journalists broke into the NDP Rally for Change and interrogated four unsuspecting Members of the Legislative Assembly. ;-P Okay, maybe it didn’t go down just like that, but I get a snicker out of watching these ‘representatives’ squirm a bit.
A few familiar faces from We Are Change Victoria took it upon themselves to create the opportunity for four MLAs to get some “tv” time. The dash for the camera and well-timed photo-op was too irresistible for these folks to pass up. The conservations were not your ‘run of the mill’ type questions from lamestream media hacks but instead centered around personal freedom and property rights.
Please note that we are looking to get the Liberals, Conservatives and Greens to all put their foots in their mouths too. We’re working on scheduling similar interviews at the coming candidates events/rallies/offices/etc. Let us know what types of questions you want us to ask. Join the quest to expose tyranny of those who would try to take our freedoms away.
Here is how is all played out:

We really appreciate seeing everyone at the movie night, thanks for coming. It was a great turn out and cool to see so many intelligent people in the audience who are well versed in health education. In regards to the seeds we gave away please see the growing tips below to help you and we would love to see any photos of your sprouted organic greens growing.
Spinach Seeds: Bloomsdale Savoy- A great tasting Heirloom spinach with thick, succulent, dark green leaves that are sweet in salads or cooked. Best planted in early spring or fall. IF fall planted, it will over winter and produce much earlier in the spring. Ready in 50 days, Open Pollination
Timing: Spinach does best in cool weather. Direct sow mid-March to May and again in mid-August to September
Seeding: Sow seeds 1 cm deep, 2 cm apart, deeper in warm soil (where the moisture is)
Growing: Spinach requires rich soil and a fairly neutral pH of 6.0-6.5. Overwintering spinach needs well drained soil. For baby greens, pick when the leaves are 7-10cm long. Individual leaves can be picked at anytime, until the plant has started to bolt.
GROWING BUSH BEANS–
Bush Beans: Tricolour Bean Blend- Premium blend of green, gold, and purple bush beans on productive plants will brighten meals and lengthen the harvest. The Tricolour bean blend produces a rainbow of colours in the garden and on the dinner plate as an exciting vegetable side. Ready in 52-60 Days, Open Pollination.Bush Beans need warm soil to germinate, especially when using untreated seeds like these. DO NOT PLANT BEANS IN COLD WET SOILS!
Timing: Seeds will sprout in 6-10 days depending on soil temperature. Sow from mid-May to mid-July
Seeding: Sow seeds 2-5 cm deep, 5-10 cm apart
Growing: Well drained, warm soil is best. Raised beds help with both drainage and warmth. Too much nitrogen fertalizer is often the cause of poor pod set and delayed maturity. Bush beans prefer full sun exposure, but can tolerate partial shade with a reduced yield.
