Victoria Chemtrail Action Day – Epic Chalk-a-Thon‏

Hello WRCV Crew,

What a champion Summer its been! I don’t have long to chat but it’s important you know about the first-ever We Are Change Victoria flash mob and chalk-a-thon starting at Esquimalt Gorge Park at 12pm noon (see map and directions below). We have over 130 people signed up on Facebook already for the event this Sunday to raise awareness about Geo-engineering aka Chemtrails. We want everyone to chalk the town!

Click here to visit the event page on Facebook

Also, join us in the evening on Sunday for a movie screening of ‘The Chemtrail Controversy‘, a locally produced mini-documentary (1hr), hosted at Gorgeous Coffee. If you’re interested in spreading the message feel free to print off copies of the posters.

Here is a map to the Chalk-a-thon:
You can enter Esquimait Gorge Park via Tillicum Road, across the street from Gorge Point Pub; be there no later that 12pm noon on Sunday, Aug.25th. We’ll bring the chalk! P.S. The weather looks pretty good for the event so we’ll be in having a lot of fun!

Thank you for coming! Check out our tips to grow your seeds

We really appreciate seeing everyone at the movie night, thanks for coming. It was a great turn out and cool to see so many intelligent people in the audience who are well versed in health education. In regards to the seeds we gave away please see the growing tips below to help you and we would love to see any photos of your sprouted organic greens growing.

spinach

GROWING SPINACH-
Spinach Seeds: Bloomsdale Savoy- A great tasting Heirloom spinach with thick, succulent, dark green leaves that are sweet in salads or cooked. Best planted in early spring or fall. IF fall planted, it will over winter and produce much earlier in the spring. Ready in 50 days, Open Pollination

Timing: Spinach does best in cool weather. Direct sow mid-March to May and again in mid-August to September
Seeding: Sow seeds 1 cm deep, 2 cm apart, deeper in warm soil (where the moisture is)
Growing: Spinach requires rich soil and a fairly neutral pH of 6.0-6.5. Overwintering spinach needs well drained soil. For baby greens, pick when the leaves are 7-10cm long. Individual leaves can be picked at anytime, until the plant has started to bolt.

Slenderette_Beans

GROWING BUSH BEANS
Bush Beans: Tricolour Bean Blend- Premium blend of green, gold, and purple bush beans on productive plants will brighten meals and lengthen the harvest. The Tricolour bean blend produces a rainbow of colours in the garden and on the dinner plate as an exciting vegetable side. Ready in 52-60 Days, Open Pollination.Bush Beans need warm soil to germinate, especially when using untreated seeds like these. DO NOT PLANT BEANS IN COLD WET SOILS!

Timing: Seeds will sprout in 6-10 days depending on soil temperature. Sow from mid-May to mid-July
Seeding: Sow seeds 2-5 cm deep, 5-10 cm apart
Growing: Well drained, warm soil is best. Raised beds help with both drainage and warmth. Too much nitrogen fertalizer is often the cause of poor pod set and delayed maturity. Bush beans prefer full sun exposure, but can tolerate partial shade with a reduced yield.
